/Meet sweet Kellen! As I was going through his photos I fell in love with him in black and white. He looks so peaceful, so cozy, so classic.

Sara reached out to me to get some photos of her and her son together. I had not done a session like this before and was really looking forward to capturing their bond. Josh is SO.sweet. Within minutes of meeting him his personality shines through, without many words - just by his gestures and the love he has for his mother. A good soul right there. And also? They're pretty (ahem handsome)! I loved having them in front of the camera. Sara and Josh - I hope you enjoy the photos!
Parker was my very first newborn in the new studio! And I think he loved it! He did a great job. I love his fluffy hair and how his Momma calls him Parks!
Miranda & Jamie are getting married in a little less than a month. Eek! I am so very excited to be able to document their big day. A couple of weeks ago we got out onto the golf course (Jamie would play all day everyday if he could!) to do a super fun engagement session. They are such an awesome couple - Miranda is cute beyond words and you can just tell her smile lights up every room she walks into. And Jamie is sweet as pie. And patient. And was so willing to do whatever I asked of him, all the while educating me on the rules of golf - and politely asking me to step back when balls were headed in my general direction. From the moment you meet them you can just tell they are meant to be together. Peas and carrots. :)
The beautiful Lynnette, whose peanut will be here before we know it! I went up to Oswego for this session and was so happy to do their photos in a park that is special to them.
Oh Ryan - he was SO cooperative! It made the session go fairly quickly and we were able to get a lot of great shots. His daddy is a firefighter so we were sure to capture a shot representing that. It took all hands on deck, but he rocked out the chin pose, and I must say he looks quite adorable doing it!

Ahhhhhhhh - the beauty of Jacquelynn. A CNS 2013 Senior. She just glows. Literally lights up the space she is in. And she has a heart of gold. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. I had a hard time narrowing down the photos - there are so many gorgeous ones.
A beautiful awaiting baby session, with a beautiful momma and family. They will be welcoming little brother into the world in a few short weeks! All these blue eyes are just stunning. And that is one perfect baby belly.
Another family of 5! I love it. We even got a shot with their cat and their dog - that makes a family of 7, right?! This is one sweet (and beautiful!) family - we had fun romping around in their backyard and then exploring some other hidden spots in the neighborhood. Enjoy!
I love this family! They are so much fun. Last year they were my first family of 5 to photograph and I was terrified! This year, I was more than excited to see them again. The kids have grown so much and it was so good to see them again. These kids have spunk, and I love chasing them around and capturing their personalities.
And each one with balloons showing hold old they are!
2!
Here are some more photos from Avery's first birthday session. And we can't forget adorable big brother Chase.
Happy 1st birthday to Avery - my very first newborn client! I can't believe this much time has passed. I love to look back and see how much she has changed.
We had a cake smash in the park to celebrate! I must say, Avery loves her cake and isn't afraid to get messy.
SO excited - she sees the cake coming! Ha ha.
Hmm....I think I'm going to like this.Oh yea! What?! I'm not acting like a lady? Do you see all this cake?!Happy 1st birthday sweet girl! xoxo
Recently I have had a couple of sessions with a big brother and a little sister and I have loved watching how protective those big brothers are. You can just tell that Jonas would do anything for Lainy. These kiddos are great - and weren't shy about being in front of the camera. I loved it! This session just screams summer; I like to think I documented a precious moment in time for them - photos that they can look at years down the road and say - "remember that summer...". I hope that these photos embody years worth of memories of childhood summers at the lake.
Oh, how I just adore this family! This is another family that were some of my very first clients, and I was so happy to have them back in front of the camera again. This time I got to meet the grandparents, who are also a hoot. This family is fun, full of energy, and full of love!
Oh miss Abby - with that adorable hair sticking out on the side. I'm learning this - there is just no controlling a newborn's hair. But really, it does nothing other than make these peanuts that much cuter!
Here are my faves from Elmira! They came all the way up to have some time in (and out of!) the studio and get some of Finley's first photos. We had a great morning together - it is always so wonderful to see this family. They rock! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do. I have watched Devy growing up right in front of my eyes, and each time I see her she seems to get cuter and cuter!

This is my beautifully stunning cousin Ellen. She lives in Atlanta, but was in town visiting and asked if I would do her senior photos. Would I? Would I?! It would be my honor! I have such a love for senior photos, and knew that Ellen would be incredible to work with. She is gorgeous. Classic. A porcelain doll. A heart of gold. Elegant. And a happy soul to go along with it all. We did the majority of the photos in my "field of dreams" as she called them, and then headed out to some neighborhood spots as the sun was setting. I know I have said it before, but I've gotta say it again - my backyard has the most incredible evening light. I want to do every session I have right there at 6:30pm. Hardly a day goes by where I don't look out the window at that moment and think - I need a client tonight! Ha ha. The morning of Ellen's session it was raining, but the clouds disappeared and the sun came out to play. She rocked each and every pose, each and every photo. As you can see, I had a really hard time narrowing down the photos to share with you. Oh - and a big thank you to my aunt and uncle who live around the country corner for letting me use their backyard for a few shots. Enjoy!
Catherine has the bluest blue eyes I have ever seen. She is an absolutely beauty and was such a sweet little girl to work with. She is celebrating her 1 year birthday, so we also did a cake smash! Check out the photos at the end of the post.
What a beautiful family! Uhhh, momma....is this allowed? What? Do I have something on my face? I love cake!
Birthday girl! Such a cutie pie, with a shy smile for the camera. Momma came prepared with balloons (I love balloons - mental note to use them more often), a cupcake cake, and plenty of adorable outfits. M wasn't quite sure what to make of the cake at first but eventually dug in. Happy first birthday to this sweet girl!
Monique & Matt completely rocked their engagement session. We had an absolute blast and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to capture their love, goofiness, style and super hotness. I mean, they're smokin' hot right? So fabulous. Cheers to many happy times ahead.
